As I think you’ve gathered this far, I love food.  I love cooking and baking and creating something that’s amazingly delicious.  There are so many amazing recipes out there.  I feel, as good “Food Stewards,” one of our jobs at Simply Playful Fare is to also point our readers in the direction of healthy, tasty, and amazing recipes.  Today, we’ve got 11 Amazing Corn Recipes from some of my favorite food bloggers!  Check them out below!

Joanne’s blog is so inspiring!  She has a ton of great recipes to choose from.  If you can think of it, she’s probably posted it.  Her pictures are beautiful too.  This recipe is so fresh and light.  Chickpeas and beans are a great source of protein and fiber. You’ve got to check it out!

2.  Grilled Corn on the Cobb from Kristina at Love and Zest


Kristina’s recipes are so healthy and tasty!  They consist of whole foods and great flavors and varieties.  She’s a registered dietitian, so she really knows her stuff!  Her pictures are gorgeous too!  This recipe is so simple.

3.  Summer Corn, Arugula and Avocado Quinoa Salad from Wendy at Cooking Quinoa


Wendy’s blog is awesome, because every recipe has quinoa in it.  It’s really unique.  Quinoa is such an underused grain, which is a shame because it’s so good for you!  It has a ton of protein.  This salad is a great combination of healthy fats and vegetables.

4.  Sweet Potato Veggie Burgers with Avocado, Corn, and Peppers from Taylor at Food Faith Fitness


Taylor is super cute, and her personal story is really inspiring.  I love her photos.  Her recipes are packed with so much nutrition and good-for-you stuff, which is really hard to do!  This recipe is no exception!

The ladies at My Gourmet Connection run a really professional show.  Their blog reads almost like a magazine, and their photos are amazing.  They even have a section titled “How-To-Cook”, which features tips and techniques.  Cilantro is one of my favorite herbs, so this recipe caught me instantly!

6.  Shrimp, Avocado, and Roasted Corn Salad from Ali at Gimme Some Oven


Ali’s recipes and photos are magazine quality.  Her blog is so fun, full of creativity, and inspiring!  This is such a creative recipe!  Lean protein, healthy fats, and delicious veggies.  You can’t go wrong!

7.   Summer Grilled Mexican Street Corn Quinoa Salad from Tieghan at Half Baked Harvest


Tieghan has been blogging for a long time, and you can tell.  Her recipes are professional, yet fun.  Her photos are beautiful, and her ease in the kitchen shines through the recipes she creates.  This recipe is fresh and light, and perfect for a hot summer day!

8.  Grilled Corn Poblano Guacamole from Katie at Katie’s Cucina


Katie’s recipes are down-to-earth with a fun twist.  This recipe is a great example of a twist.  Who doesn’t love a fun and fresh guacamole?  These extra ingredients elevate a simple recipe to a new tasty height.

As an English major, I have to say I appreciate Sarah’s play on words in the title of her blog.  Her recipes are healthy and sophisticated, which I didn’t know was a thing until I started following her blog.  Her photos are stunning.  This is a healthy, sophisticated, and light recipe, perfect for summer!

10.  Pulled Chipolte Chicken with Corn from Amelia at Eating Made Easy

Amelia’s blog is really fun with a ton of healthy and easy to make recipes.  Hence, “Eating Made Easy”.   I love that she also has a section called “Food News”, where she talks about organic food, food brands that are trustworthy, and which packaged foods to eat and which to avoid, and the truth about processed foods.  This recipe is a great cross-over into fall, when the weather starts to turn a little colder.

11.  Corn, Zucchini, and Onion Flatbread from Anjali at The Picky Eater

Corn, Zucchini, and Onion Flatbread

Anjali’s food blog is titled “The Picky Eater” because she refuses to put harmful foods into her body.  Check out the “Philosophy” section on her blog for more on that.  Her vegetarian recipes are full of nutrition and flavor.  The combination of veggies for this recipe is awesome!
