How to Jazz Up Favorite Cookie: Chocolate Dipped Cookies
When you’re trying to keep your calories at a reasonable number, it’s hard to find a dessert that will keep the carb monster at bay. These cookies are exactly what you’ve been looking for. They are thin and crispy, but the chocolate gives them a rich an creamy taste. Make up a batch of these cookies on Sunday afternoon, and you’ll be set for the whole week!
I went with semi-sweet chocolate and peanut butter, but you can dip them in just about any kind of chocolate. Try a grasshopper with mint chocolate, or butterscotch. The possibilities are endless!
Chocolate Dipped Cookies
Ingredients:
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter chips
1 package Famous Chocolate Wafers
1. Add the peanut butter chips and chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl, respectively. Microwave each bowl, separately, for 30 second increments, stirring, until the chocolate is melted. Be careful not to over heat the chocolate, or it will scorch.
2. Dip a cookie in the chocolate, and place it on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Dip cookies until the chocolate is gone, or you’ve dipped enough cookies.
3. Cool in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.
