Greek Meatloaf

Meatloaf isn’t just for the “lunch lady” anymore.  And it’s not just for gravy either.

By now you’ve figured out that we LOVE meatloaf.  That’s because if you cook it right, it’s amazing.  It’s a blank canvas, just screaming for flavor fusion!  This Greek meatloaf has a tasty flavor profile, with feta cheese, Greek seasoning, and dill.

Greek Meatloaf

Ingredients:

1/2 cup celery, chopped

1/2 cup onions, chopped

2 tablespoons garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 1/4 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1/2 teaspoon Dill Weed

1 1/2 tablespoons Greek seasoning

1 egg

1/3 cup Feta cheese

1.  Add the olive oil, garlic, celery, onions, and 1/2 tablespoon Greek seasoning to a pan set on medium high heat, and cook until translucent.  Set aside to cool.

2.  Add the turkey, bread crumbs, celery and onions, egg, feta cheese, Dill Weed, and remaining Greek seasoning to a large bowl.  Mix together well.

3.  Add the mixture to a well greased loaf pan.

Add to loaf pan

4.  Bake at 375 for about 45 minutes, or until the meatloaf is done.
