Homemade Cranberry Sauce
This is the first post in our American Thanksgiving series, and we are starting off with our homemade cranberry sauce. Do me a favor and close your eyes for a second and think of a beautiful Thanksgiving table. The wonderful foods start to make their way around the table. You look down as someone hands you a white dish with a purple-ish maroon circular lump that’s in the shape of a can. It still has the indent lines. This is your traditional cranberry sauce. You take your butter knife and cut yourself a nice congealed slice. That sounds appealing for sure. Well, this is not that kind of cranberry sauce. This is an actual sauce and you’ll need a spoon to serve it. This is tangy and fruity and cranberry-y. It can turn even the most turkey purists into cranberry sauce lovers. The cost to make this is under $5.00 and total time to make it is 15-20 minutes. So why not give this a try this year instead of getting the can!
