With New Year’s Eve approaching, everyone is getting ready for cocktail parties. We tend to be fans of simple cocktails. The beauty of simple cocktails is that you can use high quality ingredients and make them right. Moscow Mules are one of our favorite simple cocktails and they are seeing a resurgence in popularity. Believe it or not, the copper cup does make a difference. Do yourself a favor and invest in a couple. You won’t regret it, and you’ll have them for a long time. Make sure it’s real copper, and not the fake look-a-like that some box stores are pushing.
Happy New Year, and enjoy!
- 2 oz Vodka (We like Titos)
- 6 oz Ginger Beer (not ginger ale, ginger beer. We like Cock and Bull)
- Juice of half a lime
- Fill a copper cup with ice.
- Add vodka, then lime juice, then the ginger beer.
- Give one gentle stir.
