What’s in store for SPF in 2013!
We hope you all have had a great Holiday vacation! Jeff and I had a nice rest, and we’ve got a lot of great new topics we are really excited to share with you! Here’s what’s in store for SPF in 2013!
We are turning our focus to foods that are made from scratch in your home, ergo homemade. I have always thought that if you cook and bake from scratch, you are the chooser of your food destiny, if you will. You control what goes into your food, and that allows you, as the chooser, to leave out as many chemicals, preservatives, and fats as you can. The less you eat processed foods, the better you are. Our continued goal is to transform common calorie bombs into DIY recipes that are good for you and taste good too. As always, we will keep our recipes simple and easy to follow, with tons of pictures; and as cost effective as we can make them! As we’ve said before, most things are cheaper when made from scratch. And if they’re not, we’ll tell you. I thought it would be fun to make ketchup, but as it turns out, it’s not really worth the time and money. Cooking is also very therapeutic. Feeling stressed? Create something in the kitchen.
We are also very excited to announce that we will be adding a new segment to our blog! Once a month, we will have a special post dedicated to all things baby food, such as healthy foods for your baby, and how to get your picky baby to eat nutritious foods.
